I'm so happy I switched my accounts from the Huntington to Merchants. In the same day.....
...I received a phone call from Marylin at Merchants telling me that a withdraw on my checking account was about to overdraw my account. She volunteered to transfer money from one account to the other. Huntington would have just returned the check and charged me an overdraft fee.
...I went to Huntington to have a document Notarized. The lady behind the counter who was a notary said "not me" when the teller asked her if she could do it. She disappeared in the back while I stood there wondering what to do. After several awkward minutes I just left. Typical customer service at Huntington...long wait, and in this case, no help.
Worst bank and customer service ever! Avoid the branch manager. Her name is Melinda Beebe.
I absolutely love the small town feel of this bank.
